Foot Drills
 

 
Each exercise is performed 2 X 20 meters.  All of the exercises are done barefoot or in socks with the exception of walking on heels.  Do this with shoes on!
 
 
  1. Heel Walking – walk on your heels with toes pointed straight ahead.  Get up as high as you can on your heels.  The legs should be relatively straight, and the steps should be small.
 
  1. Heel Walking Toes Out – same as above, but with your toes turned out.
 
 
  1. Heel Walking Toes In – same as above, but with your toes turned in.
 
  1. Walk BACKWARD on your toes – getting as high up as you can on your toes.  Legs should be relatively straight, and the steps should be small.
 
 
  1. Walk FORWARD on your toes – toes pointed inward.  Your legs should rotate inward from the hips; the whole leg is involved.
 
  1. Walk FORWARD on your toes – toes pointed outward.  Your legs should rotate outward from the hips; the whole leg is involved.
